I am nearly overwhelmed this morning as I think on how blessed I am. As I
was spending time declaring His word over my life and life of our church, I
am amazed as to how many wonderful things God has done for us. What I am so
thankful for today is His presence. He is so real! I can¹t see him but oh
how I can sense Him. I see his creation and hear His birds singing, feel the
warmth of His sunshine. Better than all of that is to experience Him and His
presence. How awesome is our God! How loving, kind, gentle and yet so
powerful. To think that the creator of the universe will spend time with me
(with you). How amazing is that?

 Here's a thought. Take a moment and send an encouraging word to someone. We
have so much to be thankful for. Let's keep a proper perspective on how
blessed we really are, and then let's remember that we are blessed to be a
blessing. Have a really blessed day! Remember: "Love Isn't Love Until It's Given Away"

In the news is the prison release of a major star athlete who was involved
in dog fighting. The big question is will someone give him another chance to
play sports (entertain). Will he possibly face more scrutiny for his crime
against an animal (not to make light of this), than if his crime was against
a human being. The sanctity of human life has so deteriorated in our
society. This brings in question the larger picture, what is our role as a
local church and individuals in society? Would you give Michael Vick another
chance to play football? Abusing animals is inexcusable, but so is spousal
or child abuse. Or any abuse for that matter.

Thinking this morning about a pod-cast I was listening to yesterday. I had
to turn it off. A minister I appreciate and respect. I have received some
great leadership ideas from him. His presentation began to,in my
opinion,characterize God as one who may or may not help you. I believe God
is an altogether good God. No evil side of him and one who is not only all
powerful, but all loving as well. I believe God is not only able to help us,
but willing as well. I just love Him so much this morning I needed to share
with you how good He is. He is an altogether good God!
