BE PREPARED
Isn't this the "Boy Scout Motto"? I saw this quote from a great basketball coach that is now retired.
"Preparation is the key to victory in any game that you play. The prepared people win a lot more than the unprepared people," he said. "You can never spend too much time on preparation. The will to prepare to win is far more important than the will to win."It made me think about life and if we are paying attention to being prepared. Many people just exist day to day and take whatever comes there way as God's plan for their life. God plans and He has plans for us. We could use some planning time to prepare for the days ahead. I'm not forecasting gloom and doom, in fact with good preparation it can be a great time of opportunity. Remember no money left the planet when the stock market crashed, it just exchanged hands.
Joseph did a great job of preparing and saved two nations while following God's direction. I want to encourage you to prepare for today, this week, this year. Most of all prepare for eternity. God has a plan and He wants you to be a significant part of it.
Remember: Success is where preparation meets opportunity and Significance is where obedience meets divine appointment.
